SMOKED REINDEER CANAPÉS
thin, round slices of dark rye bread (Ø about 3 - 4 cm) or crisp rye buttons (eg "Wäinämöisen palttoonnapit")
200 g soft cream cheese (
eg "Philadelphia", mascarpone)
about 3 tbsp (light) cream
100 g cold-smoked reindeer roast slices
2 - 3 tbsp chopped chives
dash of black pepper

Soften the cream cheese, add the cream and beat until light and fluffy. Finely chop the reindeer slices and add to the cheese mixture along with the chives. Season with a dash of pepper.

Butter the bread slices, if you like. Spoon the reindeer filling on them and garnish with a cherry tomato or ground cherry halve and small arugula leaves or a sprig of parsley.
